This book attempts to re-interpret the fashion of women's costume and makeup from the perspective of the Tang people based on the archaeological excavations of the Tang Dynasty cultural relics and the records in the historical materials and unearthed documents. Dating back to the era between Sui Dynasty and the Five Generations, this book describes the name, style and combination of the makeup and costume from four aspects including Qi Luo (clothes), Linlang (ornaments), bun (hair), and powder (makeup).
