This book is the first volume in the Iris Series: Visualize Math -- From Arithmetic Basics to Machine Learning and also the first volume in the Programming section. It focuses on introducing how to start learning Python programming from scratch. While the book primarily covers Python programming, it doesn’t neglect mathematics. It attempts to avoid explaining mathematical concepts and formulas as much as possible, instead using graphics and almost conversational language to describe the common mathematical ideas behind program design, data analysis, and machine learning. It spans from basic Python programming syntax to fundamental visualization tools, various data manipulation tools, introduces various complex mathematical operations commonly implemented in Python, delves into data analysis and machine learning, and even explains how to build applications. It provides code examples and explanations, along with exercises, and each chapter comes with accompanying Jupyter Notebook code files.
