Recently, the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, also known as the Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park, announced the list of journals included in Beijing’s 2024 Project for Publishing High-level International STEM Journals. Among those selected, four journals hosted by Tsinghua University and published by Tsinghua University Press, have been chosen for the inaugural Program of Enhancing the Influence of Journals in the project. These journals are Communications in Transportation Research (Editors-in-chief: QU Xiaobo, WANG Shuai’an), Friction (Editor-in-chief: LUO Jianbin), Big Data Mining and Analytics (Editors-in-chief: ZHENG Weimin and PAN Yi), Nano Research Energy (Editors-in-chief: QU Liangti and ZHI Chunyi), .

This project aims to support international STEM journals that have a mature management system, high-quality content, and significant potential for growth and improvement. The goals are to enhance their quality and international impact, facilitate their inclusion in the world’s high-ranking journals, and promote the development of international STEM journals in Beijing through branding initiatives.
