The Beijing Association for Science and Technology has recently announced the list of projects chosen for the 2024 Beijing’s STEM Journals Excellence Action Plan, marking the inaugural selection since the plan’s inception. Among the submissions, the Journal of Tsinghua University (Science and Technology) distinguished itself and was chosen as a key Chinese STEM journal under this plan.

Launched this year by the Beijing Association for Science and Technology, the Beijing’s STEM Journals Excellence Action Plan aims to foster the publication of world-class STEM journals, in line with Beijing's strategic objective to become a global hub for science and technology innovation.

Founded in 1915, the Journal of Tsinghua University (Science and Technology) is recognized as the pioneering academic journal in China to adopt the"University + Journal" naming convention. It holds a significant place as one of the oldest and most representative academic journals within the Chinese higher education landscape. The Journal of Tsinghua University (Science and Technology) is indexed in several well-accepted databases, including the Emerging Index(EI), Scopus, and the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD).
