Tsinghua University Press Delegation Visits Cuba for Cultural Exchange

From November 28th to 29th, QIU Xianqing, Chairman of Tsinghua University Press (TUP), led a delegation to Cuba and engagein cultural exchange activities. The visit included stops at the Chinese Embassy in Cuba, the prestigious José Martí National Library, and discussions held at the Cuban Book Institute. During these engagements, Qiu and his team had in-depth dialogues with Cuban counterparts in the publishing industry. These interactions provided valuable insights into the preferences and needs of Cuban readers regarding Chinese publications. The delegation explored avenues for introducing more high-quality Chinese literature to the Cuban market. Additionally, both sides exchanged ideas on promoting cultural exchanges and mutual learning between China and Cuba, aiming to deepen the friendship and inject new vitality into cultural cooperation between the two nations.
