Recently, the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission and the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park announced the selected titles for the 2026 Support Program for High-Level International Scientific Journals.

Six English-language journals published by Tsinghua University Press (TUP) — Journal of Advanced Ceramics, Building Simulation, iLIVER, Journal of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles, Circular Economy, and Evidence-based Chinese Medicine and Technology Assessment — have been selected for the "Journal Enhancement" category, while Digital Twin and Smart Health has been included in the "New Journal Launch" category.

Since its launch in 2024, this program has already backed dozens of English-language journals based in Beijing, delivering measurable gains in both academic performance and international visibility, with some now leading their respective fields worldwide.

Under this program, TUP's selected journals have made rapid progress across several fronts: engaging more international experts on editorial boards, attracting high-quality submissions, developing digital publishing platforms, and achieving indexing in major international databases, while effectively enhancing their academic quality, publishing standards and global reach, laying a solid foundation for the development of a portfolio of internationally influential scientific journals.
